DanceWorks Dance Competition and Performance

Pre-Company -Company are open to all dancers by recomendation only. Please see your instructor if you are interested
in any of our intensive level classes.

Pre-Company Ages 5-7: At least one year of experience required. 3 -45 minute single discipline classses. Classes offered Meets twice weekly. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop.

Company E- Ages 7-9 This company meets twice a week and includes a 1.5 hour tap & jazz class
and one separate 45 minute ballet class. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop.

Company D- Ages 8-9: Meets thrice weekly. Pre-requisite: 3+ years experience or
permission of instructor. 1.5 hr Tap/Jazz class and two seperate 45 minute ballet classes a week. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop.

Company CII Ages 10-13: : . Class meets three times weekly. Each discipline is taught in a 45 minute or one hr block of time. At least one ballet class is required of this level. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop.

Company CI Ages 10-14:.Pre-requisite: 5+ yrs of experience or permission of instructor. Meets
four times weekly. Each discipline is broken up into 45 min. or 1 hr classes. Two ballet classes and two technique classes are required. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop.

Company B Ages 11 and up. Pre-requisite: 5+ years. Meets Three/Four times weekly. Each discipline is broken up into 45 min. or 1 hr classes. Two Ballet Classes Weekly are required of this level. Classes offered in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop.

Company A 12 and up: Pre-requisite: 5+ years. Meets Three/Four times weekly. Each discipline is broken up into 45 min. or 1 hr classes. Two Ballet Classes Weekly are required of this level. Classes offered in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop.

Production- - Is open to any pre-company/ company dancer.This class serves as an introduction to competition and performance dance. Participating students will also be honored by being cast in the annual recital's opening number

Beginner AcroDance-Competition Ages 7 and up: Class includes a combination of both dance and gymnastics choreography. Focus is on transition between dance and gymnastics.

Advanced AcroDance-Competition Ages 10 and up: Class includes a combination of both dance and gymnastics choreography. Focus is on transition between dance and gymnastics.

Large Group Lyrical/Tap Company classes are comprised of our Intensive Level
dancers who have completed the audition process and meet the prescribed prerequisits. In order to eligible for 2008/2009 Large Groups students must be in Company A,B or CI and take a minimum of two ballet classes weekly and a class in that particular style.
