Competitive Gymnastics Programs

Levels and Class placements are determined by class instructors. If you have not taken with us before, a class evaluation by an instructor is the best way to make sure that you are in placed into the appropriate class. Below you will find a general guideline for both our gymnastics and dance level classifications

Creative-
For boys and Girls Ages 2-3 Classes run for 30 minutes. Students will be introduced to gymnastics through the use of various mats, beams, small trampoline, and other small child safe stations. Parents are allowed on the floor to accompany their child as needed. The class is not taught as an instructor led class, rather students are placed in an environment where they are encouraged to explore and attempt different skills, with appropriate supervision.

Pre-K- For ages 4-5 Classes are held for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Students are introduced to most gymnastics apparatus bars, beam, vault ,floor, rings, and pommel horse for boys. Those who are brand new to the gymnastics scene, will learn basic skills., including forward & backward rolls, cartwheels, headstand and handstands, balance and turning steps on beam, as well as pull overs, back hip circle, and cast away dismounts on bars.

Beginner- l
ittle or no experience: Classes are held for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Gymnastics skills continue to build upon those taught in the Pre K classes. Additional skill that are introduced to this age group include round offs, back handsprings, bridge kickovers and limber downs on floor, candlesticks, beam - forward/backward rolls, various steps (coupe, arabesque, releve walks, battements, etc.), bars - back hip circles, flank cuts, front mill circles, and both straddle and pike sole circle dismounts.

Intermediate-
1-2 years experience, Ages 6 and up, 1 hr class: Classes are 1 hour in length. Gymnastics skills continue to build upon those taught in the Beginner classes. Skill progressions within this group include round off back handsprings, standing back handsprings, aerials, front handsprings back and front walkovers on floor, On beam - handstands, mounts and dismounts, various jumps and turns, bars - front and back hip circles, single leg flank cut or shoot through, front mill circles, and further refinement of straddle and pike sole circle dismounts

Cheer Tumble Ages 12+:
This 1 hr. tumble class focuses on round offs, back and front handsprings. It is a tumble only class, little or no apparatus training takes place.

Adv Tumbling:
Class for the advanced tumbler focuses on, aerials, baranis, multiple back handsprings, tucks, lay outs and twisting drills.

Gymnastics for dancers:
This 1hr Class is focused on developing strength and tumbling/ acro skills for the non traditional gymnasts.

Boys Gym Ages 5-7: Just for boys! This class is an all boys gymnastics program for beginners and intermediates. Focus is on developing strength, agility, and flexibility. USAG 1-3 skills taught on 6 events; rings, floor, vault, high bar, parallel bars and  pommel horse.

Boys Gym 8+:
This 1 hr gymnastics class is just for boys II. An all boys gymnastics class USAG Level 3 and 4 skills taught on all 7 events including pommel horse and mushroom!
