Company
Requirements
All
company members must take AT LEAST ONE Ballet Class a week in order to remain
eligible to remain in company classes.
No
company member shall mist more than three practices a session, unless there is a
family emergency or illness previously discussed with the student’s
teacher.
If
your child is sick or otherwise cannot make it to class on any certain day,
please call the studio and leave a message for his/her teacher.
Pre-Company: Attend One LOCAL competition a year. Students must take
at least ONE ballet class.
Students are invited to become a part of the production team but must be willing to commit to the travel to all THREE in state competitions. Students 1st year in this level only attend class one day a week but may move to two mid year depending on group progression and interest.
Company
E: Attend One LOCAL competition a year.
Students must take at least ONE ballet class.
Students are invited to become a part of the production team but must be willing to commit to the travel to all THREE in state competitions. Members must attend at least one Convention a year in order to remain on this level or be moved up the follwoing year. Students in this level should expect to attend class at minimum 2 days a week.
Company
D: Attend Three competitions a year.
Students must take TWO ballet classes a week.
Students are invited to become a part of the production team but must be willing to commit to the travel to all THREE in state competitions. Students are eligible for a Duet/Trio at this level but must commit to attending an additional 4th Competition during the year. Members must attend 2 Conventions a Year. Students in this level should expect to attend class at minimum 2 days a week.
Company C: Attend THREE LOCAL competitions a year. Students must take two ballet /Technique classes a week. Students are invited to become a part of the production team but must be willing to commit to the travel to all FOUR in state competitions. Members Must attend two Conventions: This Group includes our Intermediate II Acrodancers. Students are eligible for a Duet/Trio at this level but must commit to attending an additional 4th Competition during the year. If a member missed the summer intensive of 2009 then they must attend Three conventions during the year. Students in this level should expect to attend class at minimum 3 days a week.
Company B: Attends Five competitions a year. Students must take at least two ballet classes a week. Members must be willing to commit to the travel to all FIVE in state competitions. Auditions held in June determine extra dances that these dancers will be given in order to set sufficient time to rehearse. However if a student falls behind on other group requirements these dances may be put in jeopardy and will be left up to the discretion of the teacher. Members are encouraged to attend multiple conventions and outside opportunities during the year, however only Two are Required, unless they missed the summer intensive, then three are required. Students in this level should expect to attend class at minimum 4 days a week.

Large/Small Group Tap/Lyrical/Jazz/Modern: Students must take Two (2) classes in ballet as well as the style of the group they are performing in. Ex. A student in Large Group Lyrical must take two ballet classes as well as a regular company lyrical class in order to be eligible for this group.
NEW FOR 2009/2010
Choreography FEES are Set at the Begining of the year. Group Fees are Due in August and Solo/Duet/Trio Fees are Due twice once on August 24th and once again in January 5th. August Choreography Fees that are not paid by August 31st of the month that they are due will result in a delay of private lessons. Fees not paid in January will result in the dancer being taken out of the Dance.
