Gymnastics Team Competition and Practice Attendance
Requirements
Level 1’s are not expected to compete until May of 2009 at our home meet. But may be able to compete earlier if interest and ability is shown. Level one gymnasts are required to commit to at least two (one hour and half classes a week)
Level 2’s are expected to compete aprox 2-3 Meets during the Spring Season (January –May) Level two gymnasts are required to commit to at least two (two hr classes a week)
Level 3’s are expected to compete aprox 4-5 times a year, usually one-two meets in the Fall and 2-3 meets in the spring. A recreational state meet is held in December for those gymnast who qualify. (34.00 All around)
Level three gymnasts are required to commit to at least two (two hr classes a week) preferably one of these classes being Saturday.
Level 4’s -6’s have their state meet in December and thus are expected to attend aprox 3-4 meets in the Fall and two/three at the same or new level in the spring. A competitive State meet is held in December for those gymnasts who qualify (34.00 all around minimum). Level 4-6 Gymnasts are asked to commit to at least three (two hr practices a week or at minimum one three hr and one two hr class a week.
Level 7’s/Prep 1’s don’t usually compete until January (Spring season) but may have the opportunity to compete in one or two pre-season meets in November/December. They should expect to attend 4/5 meets in the Spring.
Level 7’s and Prep 1’s are required to take at least three, three hr classes a week with the added option of attending other mixed practices or tumbling classes at their desire.

A 34.5 all around is now the gyms requirement to level up in any level past level 3.
